Thank you all for the kind comments and encouragement, it really helps. I hope to be quilting a bigger quilt soon - but think I'll do a bit of cutting and piecing for a change first!

I think you are all so kind.
I have just spent all afternoon putting an applique butterfly over the hole on the back ! (I've never done needle turn before) but we won't tell anyone will we, and a loooonnng time figuring out spacing sizing etc to embroider a label as well. It almost took me as long as the fmq!!!

you did a wonderful job! The only fmq i've done is stippling. I'm in the middle of making a baby quilt maybe I will give it a try. Your quilt is beautiful!
