    Default Cocktail Hour

I asked advice on quilting a modern quilt on the Main board. I went with my original idea of white thread and my long armer used pearl white thread. It doesn't stand out at all on the colored blocks. I called it Cocktail Hour because one aspect of the pattern reminded me of martini glasses with an olive. The lone squares on the bed of white reminded me of champagne bubbles.

Beautiful quilt! I like the geometric quilting. I also see what you mean about martini glasses.

It is a variation of a pattern called Trailside by Marlous Designs. I drafted it into EQ7 and then used the feature that flips the blocks and came up with this design.
