Coffee hexagon quilt finished!
Finally, late Christmas present for a friend. Luckily she is patient! I used a whole layer cake on the hex's. every single one, then ended up having to trim the sides straight rather than use more hex's for that. All mistakes are lucky.
used plain backing fabric but added some lovely paisley print down the center.

What a lovely reminder of your friendship. Did you ever sit around the table sharing coffee and conversation? I'm not a coffee drinker but love the colors and the theme, and the act of sharing with a friend. You are kind and generous.

I think I got the layer cake from Missouri Star quilts. not sure of fabric line though. but the black in the border corners is Timeless Treasures Fabrics Inc pattern coffee - c 5718
