    I used an empty coke bottle to make this pin cushion.I also thought that they could be used as snack bowls for kids.Hope you can see it.

    Forgot to tell you that when you run your glue gun around the top inside edge,it makes a form around the pincushion that molds itself like magic and holds the pincushion tightly.It is really neat how it forms all by itself.

    Is it heavy enough to not fall over or do need to put marbles or something to make it heavy?

    No, that's the normal bottom of the bottle. I use them for putting under plant pots that I bring inside, keeps the water from ruining paint on shelves.
