Default Collected Tees Quilt

What to do with a collection of tee shirts I'd either outgrown, worn out, or in rare cases been gifted in the wrong size? make a quilt, of course. Each square was quilted individually on my small machine, then sashed together to the rest. (Perhaps more work that it was worth in retrospect.)

This was my first quilt, and quite the learning experience. In particular I think I gave it too heavy a batting.

It's been on my bed for 3 years now, but I'm posting it now as my "hello" since I am new to these boards.

You did a great job on that quilt. T-shirt quilts have a tendency to get heavy no matter what batting you use

I guess it's a shame that in our neck of the woods we seldom get to really enjoy a good quilt, we turn our heat off at night so at least a light quilt feels good! and I just keep making them!
oh btw, it is a nice quilt, hearty endeavor for your first
