Same here. Every time I see one posted, I think "Oh, I need to make one of those for Project Linus" & then something else catches my attention. Am the only person who has that particular problem? Way too many projects & way too little time... grrrrrrr!

some one asked ' how many kids, ect'
i was (kid-sitting) one day and the little guy from next door came over to play---he was 4- had (2) 5 year olds, him & a 7 year old-
the little guy started playing in the fabric- and pretty soon all 4 kids were seeing what 'bugs-critters' they could find- they were having so much fun- while they were playing/pulling out fabrics i drew a jar (which is one reason they are a bit wonky) then cut it out of 4 pieces of cardboard-
the kids traced the the cardboard jars onto their chosen fabric- then used kid scissors & cut them out- as they would cut one out & bring it to me i would stitch it onto background---it was a fun fun day! the kids chose every piece of fabric in it & really *ruled* the show- i simply followed instructions now it is a play quilt for when they come to visit- they have picnics on it- they build forts----they love it! especially because they feel like they made it---which of course they did- i was only the (sweat shop stitcher)
