Each square has a square of high loft batting cut smaller . The top square is a little bigger than the back. As you sew each side you sew a tuck so the seams match. I hope that makes sense. This is the only kind of rag quilt I've made, so I'm not sure how others are made.

They look comfy ! Can I ask a question ? When you say you put a tuck in , do you just kinda scrunch the fabric to make the seams match ? I make just the regular rag quilts and am always looking for new things . Thanks for sharing

I love your variation of the rag quilt! I would not have thought of using the bisquit block for it :D :D :D

Yes that's what you do. The first one is a little time comsuming but once you get the hang of it, it goes pretty quickly, that is if they are 6" blocks. I made one that had 4" blocks. I thought I would never get it done. I think they are addictive. I really like making them. The collegiate ones have binding, I didn't put binding on the baby quilts and the homespun one (the 4" block)
