Default Color Blaze

Everyone in our guild did Judy Niemeyer's Desert Sky. I didn't like it much til one of the other guild members did a positive/negative version. I took it a little further than she did. The diamond separating the blocks are the 10-minute block. When I quilted it, I made sure that the circles stood up also. This was a bit of a challenge, with all the paper piecing & all. It's also going in the quilt show next month.

I love seeing someone take a pattern and make a totally different version of a quilt. The way you did it changed the look so much. Good job!!! I have met Judy Niemeyer and I believe that she would love to see your version. She is such a nice lady and likes to see people think outside the box with her patterns.
