    Default Color Wash UFO

My Color Wash UFO stayed a UFO because it was small and "unworthy". I added 3 borders to in order to practice FMQ. It I just stitched loops in the main part. Then, marked lines with markers in each border. So fun playing with stencils. I am thinking of doing the same with the only other UFO that I own.

Beautiful quilt! Love the fishy border. Were you outlining fish in the batik?

Sometimes all an "unworthy" quilt needs is to be finished, and then it sparkles! I love the fishies too.

Thanks! It is all stencil work with washable markers. I still need to wash it today!

Your quilting really elevates the quilt. I use washable markers too and they are a life saver. This quilt turned out so cute and like others, love the fish.

A fine "fishy" finish. Who says we need to complete quilts with the same plan in which we started them? You found an alternative plan that "lured" this UFO our of the deep waters and now away from your UFO list. Good for you one less UFO! Whoo-Hoo!

Great way to make a UFO functional for you, and you end up with a lovely quilt in the end. Nice job.
