Oh, that is absolutely gorgeous & would take me a life time to make. I looked it up on The Quilt Show & I agree with dunster that it is so much prettier than the one on the site. The black background is perfect for a quilt like that with so many colors. Thanks for sharing it with us.

You made such a stunning quilt. I You did a magnificent job with what I would consider as a complicated pattern. Kudos!!! I hope you enter this in a quilt show. It deserves to be seen by many. Thanks for sharing.

What a lot of work and a spectacular finish. I triple the comment on liking it better than the original. Their busy background took away from the detail of the houses etc.

Thanks everyone. The background batik was purchased just when stores started to allow a few customers in at a time. I was looking for plain black to have on hand, but it was all gone with people buying it up to make masks. I bought 4 metres without any plan, unusual for me….it worked perfectly when this mystery started.
