    That black just makes those bright, cheery colors POP! I love this quilt! Is it an original design? The pattern doesn't look familiar to me. Your DGD is sure one lucky little lady to get such a beautiful quilt from her grammy!

    What a great design and coloring - it'll be with her to adulthood.
    A fabric stash is always missing that one fabric needed to finish the quilt on which you're working.

    Hi, the Original pattern is Confetti by Cheryl Malkowski Featuring Lollipop Tonga Treats.

    I changed the 8 1/2 in. and 4 1/2 in. squares for black with hint of fushia instead of all bright colors and added the flowers.

    She will receive it next month only but she saw the picture and loves it
