Hi Sheila Elaine,

Good luck with painting your quilt. Look forward to seeing it. Not sure hubby needs any more compliments - he already attracts a great deal of attention at shops/quilt shows when he wears the jumper he has just knitted :!: :!:

Thanks amma. It sure does make spending money on fabric and sewing notions easier when hubby is a willing participant in the project :D

DeeCee, have you painted on muslin? That's something I'm not sure about, plus I'll be mailing the quilt soon. I haven't tried it on muslin, guess I need to play with it tonight & see what happens. If it doesn't turn out well, I can hand embroider the area I was going to paint. Thanks.

Hi Sheila Elaine, I have painted on calico without a problem using Jo Sonja's Fabric Medium mixed with the paint, also Jo Sonja brand. Good luck.

Thanks ladybugquilter and ranger.

Here's a pic of the cross-stitch hubby has done to be included in wedding memories quilt that I am in the middle of doing for son and DIL.

For Darian and Melinda's wedding quilt.
