    Default Comfort and Blessings

This was a free block of the week by Piecing the Past Quilts. It started about this time last year. They specialize in Civil War Quilts but I worked from my batik stash. Love the way it turned out. I did make it smaller by having 1" sashing instead of 2" sashing. It is the first and last time I have used wool batting.

Turned out beautiful. The batiks look so bright against the white.

How beautiful!!! Sampler quilts are always a winner with me, and I LOVE the colors and fabrics you chose.

Stunning quilt...love the batiks you chose. At first glance, I thought the quilt was hung from the roof. Now I see it is on a fence top with the roof behind.
