That poor couple. Very sad. So kind of you to make the quilt. I'm sure your thoughtfulness will be appreciated.

Praying for the couple in dealing with their heartache. The quilt is beautifully done and so thoughtful.

The loss of a child at any age is enormous. Bless you for comforting them. Many people (even close friends) shy away, but you've embraced them at an extremely difficult time. Amazing and wonderful of you.

A parent losing a child has to be the greatest pain a parent can face. My heart breaks for these parents.
The parents will be comforted in knowing you cared enough to create a quilt just for this loss.
I don't know if I could make a comfort quilt like this I would probably find it too upsetting--So Kudos to you!!

What a terrible grief! Your comfort quilt may help them remember that their grief is shared.

I remember an occasion many years ago, one of the men who worked with my Dad had twin grandsons, and right at Christmas time that year, they both died. It was diagnosed as crib death, no real reason for it. It was heartbreaking. I knew nothing about quilting at the time and I lived 1000 miles away, so I was always broke from the traveling I did to visit my family. I am so sorry for the loss of this couple's baby. It's not something they will get over, they just have to get 'through' it! Prayers for the parents and grandparents, too! Jeanette
