Default Comfort Quilt for My Sister

I finished a comfort quilt for my sister who is undergoing chemo for her aggressive form of breast cancer. She loves it and took it for her treatment this week. She told me she will take it for every treatment. I told her that love and prayers are in every stitch and that the random quilting lines represent the puppies runing all over to capture cancer cells! The pattern for the little puppies are from https://www.etsy.com/shop/dahliainbloom/items and the dog on the back is one of those little puppies enlarged 400%. I also made a pillowcase that utilizes 2 of the cute puppies.

That is adorable. I know

Adorable. Wishing your sister a complete recovery. Imagining those puppies taking away the cancer cells is very therapeutic and a positive attitude really helps.

Fabulous quilt both front and back and front and back are truly interchangeable. The pillowcases are wonderful extra touch and will make it easy for her to transport the quilt to treatments. Love your analogy of the warrior puppies. It is sure to bring her comfort and a strong fighting attitude to beat the beast she is currently battling. Every time someone comments on her wonderful quilt (which is sure to happen by other patients, nurses, drs and others) it will remind her just how much you love her and give her the strength and courage she needs.
