The sky wasn't paper pieced, just strips and odd angles, and I like the way everything angles out to the right, which is west.

Wow! This is really nice! I hope you win! I am very inspired by your block because this week I sketched my dad's barnyard and started contemplating how I was going to translate it into fabric. I'm going to bookmark this post and refer to it when I need a little boost in confidence!

I've put the project off because I decided my sister needed a wall quilt featuring a boxer. She has three boxers now and, in the past, bred and sold boxers. (She's ill and could use the love.)

Again, I hope you win! Love the block and the use of fabric!
