I tried doing big circles on this quilt. It was my first time using a grooved board. Works similar to a panto. I do have to say this will be my last time doing it...I really did not enjoy it at all and I can see TONS of flaws. So it is a good thing that my son gets it. I would be ashamed to give it to anyone else....lol. I like the back the best. :)
My son picked out all the fabrics for this quilt and he did pretty good. He's only 3.

Your quilting looks very impressive. But if you didn't enjoy it, life's too short to keep doing it.

This quilt would make any little boy very happy.

He is very happy with it. :) He is walking around the house showing everyone telling them that his mama made this. :)

I like your "circle of life" quilting pattern. Perfect for a jungle quilt especially if Corbin likes "The Lion King."

The quilt is really nice...piecing and quilting....we're always our own worst critic....listen to all these comments and believe them....your quilting is just fine.

Thank you. It was just hard because I usually do everything freehand. I prefer to do it freehand. I think because I didn't like the process it was done, I just didn't enjoy it and didn't like the quilting.
Today, when I look at it...it really isn't that bad.

Lol!!! Your list of quilts to do would grow. He only picks out fabrics for himself right now...lol. :)
