Very nice bowls! I made a couple oval shaped with only 2 inch sides for my husband to throw his keys, wallet and change into when he empties his pockets. They are really handy and save the finish on my furniture from getting scratched.

Aren't they so much fun. I've made these as well and they do make great gifts! I haven't made any round ones yet; all mine are oval. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice. I made several and then taught my fellow bee members to make small ones. We use them as thread catchers when we get together. (Mine catches a few other items, too--pins, needle threader, embroidery scissors, etc.)

These are great! I love the idea of saving the furniture with them too.

I love those. My aunt had taught me how to make a similar bowl but there wasn't any sewing involved. I loved making them and should do them again. Thanks for the fond memory.
