Default Cottage Romance almost finished

Maybe you remember this quilt top from a loooooong time ago. Well, this is it so far. Now I want to put a scalloped border but so far too scared to try. Maybe in a few weeks I can talk myself into it. Sorry not great pictures. I just don't have the room to spread it out and get good pictures. This quilt top is taking me a long time between processes. LOL The back is flannel and the batting is wool. It is so soft and cuddly!

Nice looking and scallops are easy make a paper template first. Then you will not have issues with it being lopsided. Pin it to the quilt and cut it out. Then use bias binding to bind it. I am sure you tube has a few videos for you to watch. Luann

Thanks everyone. I do have a ruler for scallops (Quilt in a Day Scallops Vines & Waves) and just made a practice piece. If it turns out OK then I will tackle this quilt. The quilt measures 86 X 95 - do you think 5" scallops will look OK? Didn't want to go bigger because it takes off too much of the quilt in the corners.

I have used that ruler for a few quilts. Love it! Your quilt is beautiful and so is the quilting.
