I bet they are happy that you couldn't sleep!! Looks cute. I have not made my dogs a quilt yet. Not sure if I want to see what they do with it!!

Good job! Even your four legged babies need a quilt.

I myself love high loft, and use it all of the time, but thats just my opinion...
Lovely quilt! The colors are great.

I have never used high loft but plan on using it for the dog quilt if I tie it. What do you think. Is high loft good for tying?

If you don't like high loft batting then don't use it but don't sound so critical when commenting on someone elses quilt. It's for her dogs and high loft would make it softer for them.
I agree I dont like it either when someone is critical, reminds me of high school ... but I did notice it was her quilt/batting she was talking about and I'm guessing she was frustrated and needed to vent.

    I love the quilt!

I discovered a couple of days ago...if you iron it with your steam on max...it compacts it nicely. But your puppy quilt is adorable high loft or not.

Do you iron before or after quilting? I have some high loft batting that someone gave me and I've only tried using it one time. Wasn't crazy about it.

I'm guessing it would be before quilting but after sandwiching assuming it's a poly batting. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh, and I like the doggie quilt too. But I'm not going to tell my dogs about it. They'll get ideas.
