Hi Kieta ,
I just had to tell you that I also made a quilt out that same book, it is the Prairy Stares , I made it in those exact colours, and it came out beautifully. I made it for my daughter for Christmas, she loved it !
I wanted to make the quilt you made for your Dad, but the size is on the small side and I don't know how to enlarge it.
I love both of the quilts you made , thank you for showing them to us.

Thanks Mad Gertie, i want to make the one you made for your daughter some day. have you posted a picture yet? would love to see your work.
i think you could enlarge the crossover dash & churn by adding another round of the churn & dash around the first border. would remove the blue squares and just make it a plain border. course you'll still end up with a large square but that can be adjusted with outside borders on top & bottom for a rectangular quilt.

I love the Chrun Dash for Dad, the colors are really nice. Mum's quilt is beautiful also. Good job on both, I am sure they love them.
