    This is beautiful! I've done One Block Wonders which is a similar technique but I have to try this! I've got the Bethany Reynolds book... I love the on point look as well, makes the kaleidoscopes really swirl! :-D

    The purple floral is on a black background. The offset squares are also black. When I went to get it quilted, she had a black/blue marble fabric 108" wide, so that's the backing. It's quilted with black thread as well.
