Default Couple more Button Up Buttercup Quilts

The Button Up Buttercup pattern is so much fun. I am always amazed at the different look and "feel" you get from different fabrics. I am posting two other quilts I made from this pattern. The edges of the flower petals are meant to fray out with each washing to give it a three dimensional look. Mine aren't frayed yet. The homespun is on the back of my sofa and the flannel went to another grandchild. My first year of quilting was pretty productive. I totally finished 21 quilts and had 4 more tops completed and waiting to be quilted. I think I may have caught the quilting bug. LOL.

    VERY nice!
I like the notion of letting the fabric fray to create dimension.
