A couple of my quilting projects

After looking at the amazing quilts and projects by all you talented people, I thought I would show a couple of mine. The first is a table topper which I entered in a local rural agricultural show, and not only did it win first in class, it also got a blue ribbon for best in section! Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! My first time
The next quilt is for our local Permaculture group, of which DH and I are members.

    Thanks for looking

Thanks again for all your nice replies

alfosa421, I find it a bit hard to explain Permaculture in a couple of words; here is a link which explains more or less what it is about. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Permaculture

Wonderful quilts and details. The quilting on the first one is outstanding. Is it hand quilted. It looks to be and if so, I'm really impressed; gorgeous small, even stitches. The second quilt is wonderful too. Love the whimsey contained in it; the cracked egg with the little feet!
