    Thank you for the kind comments. It did win a red ribbon at our county fair in 2010. The pattern was from a quilt shop on the island of Kuaiai (sp?). At first it had a big bubble in the middle because of all the bias pieces. I made this before I had my quilting 101 class. The teacher is now my LAQ. She looked at my completed top (not from her class) and she figured out that if I took in one seam just slightly, the top laid flat. I have learned a lot since then, and now I wouldn't dream of taking anything like this on again! LOL
