I’m going on vacation to Portland Oregon (yes, we plan to visit the quilt show! YEAH!) this week and wanted to finish up what was on my work table before I left. I’ve been doing primarily art quilts lately and felt it was time to get back to basics. This is a D4P which I thought was going to be uber-easy. I’m sure it is for some of you, but I think my quilting karma wench was on vacation and was not looking over my shoulder this week. My good friend, Randy the Ripper and I were spending quality time together because for every seam I did right, I did at least one wrong and had to ‘un-sew’ it. I learned that back stitching can be a bit… oops, I mean back stitching can be trying when you have to rip it out. The quilting was fun and went pretty fast and I like the final outcome. Hope you do to.

What a great quilt! I love it. Did you follow a pattern? If so, may I ask which one? And what are the quilt's dimensions? Sorry for all the questions.
