Love your pillow, I have seen the Crayola crayons used on a quilt before and have always wanted to try it. Yours is beautiful, love the colors and the border you used on the outside of the duck.

What a neat technique & I was going to ask if it was washable but someone up a few remarks answered it. I like how you can control the shading. Very nice.

By the way - any 'ole crayons will do. You don't have to buy the Crayola Crayons made for fabric painting. I just used my grandkids crayons. So save yourself the expense. Just be sure to put a piece of paper (I use typing paper) over your colored items and heat set with hot iron. I have a book of embroidery patterns that calls for 'tinting' your flowers, etc. with crayons after you finish your needle work. I did this on some pillow cases and a sheet that I use for summer. Don't remember how many years ago I did them but they're still good.

What a great idea. I've colored on fabric before but never thought to finish it off like this. thanks.
