I love doing dessert quilts, and this one was no exception. I plan on hanging this on who's ever birthday it is on their door for the day. First time doing prairie points. But very happy with the results.

ETA: the pattern is "The Mad Hatters Cake" by Sandy Coelho (Cottontail quilts and designs)

That is sooo cute! Is it from a pattern or did you design it yourself? I love your idea about hanging it.

what a brilliant idea for the birthday person's door.

i just love the prairie points. i like that they vary in size and color!

did you do the points continuous and then weave them together or did you do each one separate?

Each prairie point is separate and they are actually all the same size. there's two rows of them, the front ones and the back ones (which make them look smaller) :)

thank you for responding to the prairie point question.
