You get so many different textures from using them, and sometimes you can use the wrong side, and get a whole different look from the same tie.
Barb - I actually have a bit of yellow silk and blue silk from a tie of my DH's that I persuaded him he'd never wear again! The yellow in three of the blocks and the dark blue in two of them; You're right, they look beautiful, especially with silk ribbon embroidery over them; Unfortunately he only had one silk one - the rest are polyester and not as nice so he can keep those! :mrgreen:

Thanks Rhonda....I'm going to have to go look up your PDA . Now, if my blocks could just look as good as k's :roll: And yes k, doodads! I know you've got a drawer full of them! :wink:

Awe, comeon Sandpat, we love to go there!!!!!!!! Doodads...it's the perfect word. Along with whatchyamacallit and thingamajig. Do they use those words in GB Kathryn?
