    Default Crazy Crumb top

I've been working on this one since last May. I go to a retreat in Shipshewana and this was the challenge from April 2019, due this April. The pattern was copied from an antique quilt found a an Amish auction. The original was very drab, lots of browns - mine is a crazy mix of 30s reproductions, 60s calicos and Civil War fabrics! Foundation pieced on paper.
I changed the original piano key border to a dark calico, but may cut it a bit narrower before binding, it looks a bit heavy.
Sorry for the picture quality, my phone is needing to be replaced.

Really beautiful! So foundation pieced on paper in sort of a free style manner? Lol, I am wondering if I need to be saving my crumbs again. I go in phases.....

I think it is very pretty! You have done a great job on this one. I love your choice of fabrics too. It does give it a lot of pizzazz. This quilt makes an impression on anyone who sees it. That it is foundations pieced makes it all the more fun.

Very nice! Some crumb quilts, you can see where they started with small crumbs and then most blocks have bigger pieces, but yours is very uniform, and I like the colors too.
