I used these same fabrics in a tube quilt. I love using Chenille fabric for borders and backing. I don't usually put batting in as it is warm enough as is. Make sure you use your coupons for the chenille and prewash it. I like 6 inch borders.
Oh my goodness, your quilt is gorgeous! I love what you did with the jelly roll fabrics. I was too chicken to go much outside my very small box of experience, lol. One of these days I'd like to try something as lovely as that.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it, if you go to the search and put in "tube quilt" you'll see alot of them, even a link for the tutorial. They're very easy and fun to do.

Thanks to all for the kind words and encouragement. :D

I don't know if this is going to end up being way too busy or if it'll come out alright, but right now I really love it. Also, everything still needs squared up, but I just wanted to show you guys the colors. I'm planning on doing a really simple, plain border so as not to give people a heart attack when they look at it. :P

I plan on working up some more pieces tomorrow with three patterns not shown in the picture. I'll post more pics when I can! :)

Fantastic fabric and would love to see more of your intended patterns. Alexis, you have been well and truly bitten by the quilting bug!

This pic has all nine patterned fabrics in it. This amounts to 18 'pieces' (not sure what to call them...I'd call them blocks but I don't think they are technically a block when it's just three strips sewed together). I can double this and get 36 - which I'll probably have to do to make it bigger than a lap quilt. :D
