Wooza! How long did it take....
did you use muslin for foundation of each block? Then did you back the entire piece? How did you secure backing, top to complete......batting? Tell more!
this certainly makes me want to start gathering "things"...... Using batiks...good idea
did you do by yourself, or was this a group that you belong to?
This would be a fun group endeavor...bring things to share...hmmm, I wonder if there's a group near me? Or wonder if my guild would be interested in starting a group? Will have to look into this....

I really like the combination of contemporary fabric (batiks) with the traditional idea of embellishments for crazy quilting. Your choice of fabric colors and wide range of embellishments is wonderfully diverse and beautiful. I don't know your details of construction but the outcome of your project is perfectly lovely.
