I am almost finished with this now - probably will be done in a month or two - LOL. It is a hand project that I started last December. The whole thing has been done by hand. Shown is just a few pics, more are on my blog under Crazy Quilt

This is lovely. Looks like a hundred year old one that one of my aunts got from my Grandma's stash.
    Keep up the good work.

OMG....I love it! I have been collecting different types of fabrics for sev years now, even buying 2nd hand clothing at Thrift Stores when I see something that I think would work good on one....velvets, cuordorys, satins, embroidered vests, etc. I am retiring end of June and will have so much more time. Can't wait to start on mine. Keep up the good work and hope to see it when it is finished.

Just lovely! I started one a few weeks ago and am having trouble finding silk ribbon for embroidery. Do you know a good place to find it?

Crazy quilts are the most fun to make. Yours is really nice. My first quilt was a crazy quilt but I used cottons as it was going to be well used by DD. I hope to make a bag for myself more like your quilt as soon as I get enough fabrics that coordinate. You must be thrilled with the outcome.

I had to get mine online at threadart.com - they have several widths of it.
