Crazy Quilted Heart ornaments transittion from Christmas to Valentine's Day

After Christmas, my sister picked up a Pink tree for me marked way down so I decided to use some of my Christmas heart ornaments (all but the red/green ones) for a Valentine tree. I also found the big bear at Goodwill for $7.50 (It still had the tags attached so it was brand new). My doggies were all over that bear - it was so cute. I am working on 2 Valentine quilts so I will post those when I get them finished. Have a great day.

Love the trees. Did you make the heart ornaments? They are lovely!

Thank you, yes I did make them but many years ago. Every year I would make a batch of some kind of ornaments since when I got married I had none. Then it got to be a kind of tradition.

Cute trees. Your ornaments are beautiful. I also love your big windows and the scene beyond.

Love your tree. I have my tree up all year, but my hearts look very plain. I have to get out the lace and beads. Thanks so much.

    That is so pretty.
Home is where the heart is, and a few scrappy quilts.

Love that pink tree. It makes a wonderful Valentine tree with all those heart ornaments. That bear is so cute, no wonder the dogs want it.

Darling, I have a collection of similar hearts---wish I had a tree to use them on now. (I think the majority of mine are in red and green....maybe I should start making new ones!"

Oops. I wasn't getting "fresh". Darling was mean as a description of the beautiful vignette you created

    I love your heart trees!
Around here we transition from Christmas right into Mardi Gras. This year it's on Feb 21st.
It's always on a different date... but always on a Tuesday. I think it's the 6th Tuesday after the first full moon after Christmas. Sometimes it's in March. Lots of people leave their tree up and just redecorate in purple, green, and gold.

Oh that is the cutest thing I have seen lately. Are the hearts made with materials or felt? What a great idea.

I loved your Christmas tree earlier. Now, your Valentine tree is equally lovely. I would like to make some velvet hearts similar to yours, but I already have too, too many decorations. I might have to make some anyway.

I have the same pink tree. Mine came with little pink lights on it. Never thought to leave up and decorate for Valentine. Thanks for sharing.
