Sorry about the sideways skull quilt. I am computer challenged.

This is a challenge quilt made for the guild I belonged to. It is a modified Georgia Bonesteel pattern. I had to cut the logs down to 1/2 inch finished in order to meet the challenge rules. It measures 56" by 40". The logs form the fields and furrows log cabin pattern. The circles reminded me of the eerie markings left by 'space ships.' Hence the name: crop circles.

Now let's see if I can get this picture to hang right.

This is really nice. :!: I love the effect, and can only imagine the work involved.

What an interesting quilt and what an accomplishment!!

1/2 inch finished logs---I dread working with anything under 2" unfinished and even then it's a struggle----you must have the patience of Job!!
