I think your DGD is sure to remember you when she uses her purse. When my DGD was that age, I made her a reversible vest, which was the envy of her classmates, I'm told.

She will love it! Great idea! Love the fabrics you chose.

One idea for you: If you know how to use Skype on a computer or Face Time on an I phone, you will be able to see and talk to your GD as if she was in the room with you.
