What a hoot! It's always nice to have a smile hanging on the wall.

Thank-you for posting this snowman sampler. I just bought the stand alone pattern when I saw the completed sample hanging it is really adorable. I'm thinking of using either Minkee and/or flannel for the snowmen just for a different texture.

The words are embroidered. It took me 5 lunch hours to get it done. the quilting did not take that long. LOL

Snowballs were 6.5 inch blocks with 2" squares for the corners. The pattern is called "Let it Snow" by Farmhouse Threads. We picked up the kit at Chattanooga Quilts located in Ooltewah, TN. (located north of Chattanooga a few miles.) website is www.chattanoogaquilts.com.

It took more time to do the embrodery work than sewing the snowmen. It is about 27" x 33" when finished.

Merry Christmas. Phannie
