    Default Cubbyhole Quilt

Saw a demo of this on Fons/Porter reproducing from a "Turn of Century" quilt they found. Just love the effect which is that the blocks appears to be crooked but are not...it's the effects you get with putting the lights and darks next to one another. The whites appear larger...and crooked.

Did a larger top and then a mini top...waiting in the wings for sandwiching.

I really like both of them. They are soft and pretty.

Good exercise for learning the importance of value. The whites come forward and the darks recede. Both are great!
