    Thanks for showing us all the details. From the large picture, I couldn't see all the fine details that became evident in the close up. What seemed to be a simple design is actually very complex. Is your great newphew an astronomy enthusiast? It looks like a map of the night sky to me.

    What an intricate pattern design. It took a lot of work but the end result was well worth it. The hidden star really is outstanding. It is hard to believe the outcome from the combination of your fabric selection. You have a "hidden" talent in choosing the right combination of fabrics. Thanks for posting. It is an inspiration.

    Wow Kass, you must have the patience of a Saint...I’m not sure I could have done all that fussy cutting but love how it turned out. Like Sue Ross said, I’m glad you posted detailed photos otherwise you wouldn’t get to see all of the elements of your hard work. Great job!
