Default Cubs World Series and Suffolk Among the Stars quilts

Every year I donate a quilt to raise money for a local autism group that has helped my son. I read on the board that sports quilts often do well and since I live in the Chicago area and the Cubs won the World Series for the first time in 108 years, I thought this would be a good choice. It is my own design. I used a T-shirt for the Championship block and fleece for the backing. I hope it raises a lot of money.

The second quilt is Suffolk Among the Stars designed by Marilyn Foreman. I'm not crazy about the glitter in the fabric, so I will donate it to charity. Hopefully someone else will like it more than I do. Oh well, you can't like them all.

Elise

That border on quilt #2 is everything. Wow. Very pretty.

I'm a Cleveland fan so I will pass on any enthusiasm for the Cubs
I will sincerely say that your first quilt is very nicely done as well. I bet it makes a bundle. Your choice of backing is great , too.

Both quilts look fantastic. The Cubs quilt should do well.

I hope some Cub fans get into a bidding war on that great quilt! Love your blue one too!

Very nice quilts. The second one should win a ribbon.
