Wow, I want to learn how you got those triangles so pointy. I seem to sew right over the point. Beautiful work. You must know something to tell me. :-P

I followed the directions for the order in which to piece the triangles together. That way my seams did not bunch up and get to thick. I used an exact 1/4" and if it was wider i just trimmed it up. nothing fancy :)

I would use the green and make a wide border and scallop the edges.

No quilting ideas... Are you to planning hand or machine quilting?
But you did a fabulous job. It's very striking!

I think I would sid around the pinwheels and then do something fancier in the plain areas.
We have such wonderful hubbies! They do put up with a lot from us quilters and they just take it all in stride :)

I have the final wide green boarder to sew on today and then the top will be done and I will add some pictures here. I plan on machine quilting it myself and like the idea of in the ditch around the pinwheels and something more decorative in the wide open spaces. I just have one question?? How do you mark the design on the top so you have something to follow with your free motion? I have an ink pen made to "go away" but it goes away with air too soon before I'm finished! Any suggestions?
