Curved piecing - just finished!
#1
I took a class this summer on how to do curved piecing. Finished the top over the summer but it took until this cold winter weekend to actually quilt and bind it. Now it is already being snuggled. The colors are a bit brighter than the photo shows, but you get the idea.

This is a very different quilt and you did an excellent job on it. I think the pinks pull the colors together & it is very striking. It would look good as a wall quilt. Do you know what you'll do with it?

Thanks for the nice comments! I'm newish to the site and it's the first time I've posted a quilt. It will hang on a wall, in the room our sons' music "studio" - spare bedroom, really. We are always looking to absorb more of the guitar amps and drums!
Also, all the curves were cut freehand, then sewn. Very scary the first time, but really liberating! To make the blocks, I made long pieces, like the border, then cut them into smaller segments and put them around the center square, in a log cabin fashion. It was actually not hard.
