    Customer's Batik Quilt

I just finished quilting this for a customer. She does such a great job of piecing her quilts that it makes my job easier. This was done in batiks on the top and flannel on the back. She chose dark blue thread and the double leaf pattern. Hobb's polydown batting was used. The quilt is very soft . This quilt measured 74x96 inches! Hope you like it!

Yay!! It's done!!! Well--there's still that binding to get on. I can't wait to see it in person next weekend. Rachel loves it too! Thank you, Dee!

LOLOLO it linked the words between the signs I gave you! Sheesh. Hmmm... how can I explain? Put url between [] at the front of the link then put /url between [] at the end of the link and you've got it.

lol--Michelle--you crack me up. I drove Dee crazy trying to decide on the quilting pattern. She has so many great ones...but I had to keep in mind this one was for a guy...so I couldn't try one of her neat flower designs. ;-) Rachel picked this one early on, but I needed to explore all other possibilities before settling back to this one.

Dee is terrific to work with! She's patient, professional and FAST!!

I'll keep that in mind...I am soo going to make one of these....I'm looking for the book so I can figure out how much fabric I need, sizes and stuff. I was hanging out with a friend yesterday and I drove her crazy looking at this because I was so excited about it!! She's on the board too, so I'm sure she will recognize it when she signs on again...LOL!! Can you tell I love it!!
