    Customer's Double Wedding Ring (DWR) quilt --- quilted by Dee

    I got this quilt done for a customer......whew!!! She needs it for Christmas gift. I LOVE doing traditional quilts!!!! It's 68" x 78", I used Warm and Natural and MetroEmb thread. I do all my quilting freehand........no computer!!!!!

    Wow - I love your quilting - tell me - how many years did it take you to perfect your feathers? I still struggle - sometimes the feathers will go upside down and opposite directions - it looks like I am drunk while quilting. haha.. oh well, one of these days.

    hmmmmm I got my first longarm 3 yrs ago in August --- (mid arm actually), then I bought my Avante 2 yrs ago next spring...............so 3 yrs!!!!! Classes, BOOKS, videos on internet and PPP!!!! Thanks!!!

    Beautiful feathers!!! I can get one side to look good but I really struggle with the other side when I try feathers. I envy anyone who can do them so beautifully! Great job!

    That is truley heirloom quilting! Just perfect! I love traditional quilts and feathers... they just seem to go together.

    I see so many of the same fabrics I used in the one I just finished. Even the joining triangles are the same! However, your great quilting ability makes it a much nicer quilt. I hope to be able to quilt like that some day.
