Customers quilts that I have quilted they are beautiful!!!

this is the front and the backs of the quilts. The baby quilt was quilted with lambs. The other quilt is called a Nosegay. I had not seen one of these so I had to do some research on it. I only found one old quilt with machine quilting on it. All the rest we seen were hand quilted. The first pic of the Nosegay we just got it on the quilting rails. The second is the first row of quilting which is called flowering pond by Nancy Johnson. The other 2 pics are the finished product. She is going to bind it herself. I think that it is beautiful. She gave me the quilt pattern so now I can make my own.

What lovely quilts and quilting! I love the bright yellow on the Nosegay quilt, although I realize that the colors might not be "true" as I see them on the computer. Beautiful choice of quilting for that quilt. Great job all around.

Beautiful quilts & equally beautiful quilting! I have several vintage quilts that are machine quilted so I guess it isn't totally unheard of. I love the job you did on the "Nosegay". Congrats on the fabulous work!

Nice, nice job. Especially love the nosegay. Your quilting made it pop, with just the right amount of quilting to enhance the design and colors.

Thank you all. I really had to do some research on the Nosegay. I had never seen one. All the old Nosegay's we found on the web were hand quilted except one. So that was the pattern that I put on this one. The quilt we seen on the web sold for $1200.00. I wanted to keep this quilt's value. The hand stitching on it was the best I had ever seen. You couldn't hardly tell it from machine stitching. I asked her if the put a 1/4" line on every seam. No she didn't but the stitching on it was wonderful. To top it all off she is around 86 years old. I was very impressed. When she picked it up she loved it. I was so pleased with the way it turned out.

The yellow background is so bright and cheery. And there's something about it that looks nostalgic, wish I thought of using yellow more often!
