    Default Summer Sherbert

Hi Everyone: This is the cotton lawn quilt I finished hand quilting and binding during the July virtual quilt Sunday. It was a kit from Connecting Threads. I used the cotton Pellon batting for the first time. Smallest stitches I've even been able to achieve. Very happy with the way it worked up. Rather than quilt using linear lines, I quilted with circles, courtesy of a CoolWhip container. Perfect to throw over your knees on a cool summer a.m. while enjoying a cup of tea. Thanks for looking.

Lovely colors and clever use of a Cool Whip container I only wish we had cool summer mornings. Or cool summer anythings.
