    my Sherbert Quilt

this was from a free pattern called Wickedly Easy. I made the top sometime ago but finally dug it out and finished it. Double yea!!!
I did diagonal stitching lines all over it. some going one way, others intersecting the other way.

Nice! I love the fabrics with the textured design. Are they all from a collection?

the fabrics were some fat qtrs I got but I really don't remember where I got them or when. Sorry. I kept moving that stack around my sewing room, so i cut them up and made a top. Just to move them elsewhere. They are nice. i almost ran out so i had to sew some pieces together to have enough of the 2 1/2 inch strips. you see some full strips and some two color ones I made up.
and is it Sherbert or Sherbet? I'm Southern and evidently i've always pronounced it with a second r in it......

Love those nice, summery fabrics! I also like how your wrapped your backing over to be the binding. Great fabric and color choices. Thanks for sharing.

I am in love with this quilt! It's so fresh & summery! I love, love, love those fabrics! You said this was a free pattern? Do you remember where you got it or what it was called? It looks like it might be kinda fun to make! Especially if mine turned out a zillionth as cute as yours!
