CW quilt lay out--took over two hours!

Love the fabrics you chose. I feel like I stepped back in time, looking at it. And I really love that particular star pattern; I'm actually in the process of stencilling onto my wall!
Great job Karla.

Mark has seen it all along--too hard to keep it a secret. Actually, he chose the pattern from three I showed him--and when I had 12 star blocks left I had him show me what fabrics he liked the most--and what colors he wanted the last ones. So-he's had a say in it. :D
After working hard to keep all flowery fabrics out of the quilt top--I don't know what I was thinking when I chose the back fabric. Well--actually, the choices were a greenish or the maroonish...so I went toward a CW color (red). But he likes it--even with the pinkish strip in it. When I showed him the two choices I had and asked which he would have picked, he said he didn't know... so that's good, yes? and Kennedy's dad said he really liked it too... so it'll be okay.
Here's my man of 24 years.... :D (we really need a smile with hearts)
