Just what I was thinking. Love how it seems to float also!

Oh my gosh, so sharp. Love how you combined the D9P blocks, the colors, oh just too sharp.

Gorgeous quilt! I love the colors and the pattern -- do you know what it is called? Also quite a challenge with the quilting. I haven't attempted to quilt a big one on my DM yet. Maybe I will try.

Very nice selection of fabrics and their placement. Love your Schnauzer. My Westie use to always lay down at my feet when I was quilting.

Thanks all for the inspiring and encouraging words about the quilting. Quilterfay - this is a D4P block - you can find a tutorial on how to make it on the Missouri Star Quilt Co website. I just added the black sashings and 2" colored blocks for the outside borders because I actually cut out way too many 5" squares of the bright fabrics. Wanted to use them in the quilt somehow and this is what I came up with. The backing is black with tiny little hearts in bright colors. I used this for the binding as well.

I may hang this one up in my hallway for a while and give my DWR quilt a rest. It's been hanging there for a good long time.

Beautiful Quilt and Quilting. I have the same machine that you have and it is difficult to maneuver a big quilt through the throat! LOL But I have to admit it is a workhorse for such a small machine. It has served me well. Your FM quilting is great too!

Just beautiful. I think that I will use your border idea on my next quilt. BrendaK
