love it, questions when you cut your 9 patch into the 4 squares did you mix them up with other 9 patch blocks to be varigated or did you just rotate the 4 blocks and resew them?

Has anyone ever done a D9P in Batik? I have some batik fabric and wanted to see what it would look like to do the D9P. Possibly for a baby Quilt..?
